Paige’s essay on child’s psychology is extremely broad in all three categories she choose to write in, environmental, social and cultural influence. If I were Paige, I think it were best if you choose one of those three and found a specific case for that one category.

Environment influence can entirely effect a child’s psychology. What exactly would you want to focus on as far as environment influence? Maybe the environment as where they grew up, where a child is taught, what part of the country they lived in, or even what kind of family they live with. Each are a more specific type of environment influence and maybe easier to write about than just environment itself.

Social influence is another category that has tons of options as far as more specific ideas to go along with it. For example, some social influences that can effect a child’s psychology again include social class, what race they are, and how their parent’s live in the household.

Cultural influence is probably the simplist to write about because it has a lot of pro’s and con’s that can effect child’s pschology. If it were me I would choose this topic. Cultural influence may include religion, race, and specific traditions. You can easily pull one subcategory from each example I provided here and make a great essay. A specific religion like islamic or judaism would be fun from the regular christian social norm. Race including any asian or african decendent would have lots of information (both good and bad) to help along with your paper. Maybe why hispanic cultural is very family oriented could go along with a specific tradition. Cultural influence is a great topic that can effect a child’s influence.

    I hoped this helped :)
